Responsibilities
- Administers ionizing irradiation to patients according to prescriptions and instructions from department physicians.
- Ensures patient safety by following radiation safety protocols, including proper immobilization and verification imaging as required.
- Operates linear accelerator and related treatment delivery equipment, delivering prescribed doses per protocol.
- Verifies patient identity, positions immobilization devices, and utilizes image-guided verification as appropriate.
- Documents treatment delivery, maintains treatment records, and communicates with the care team to report discrepancies or issues.
- Collaborates with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and other members of the radiation therapy team; participates in quality control activities as assigned.

Requirements
- Active license or credentialing as Radiation Therapist in Oregon or eligible for licensure
- ARRT certification or eligibility (Radiation Therapist)
- Minimum education: Associate degree in Radiation Therapy or equivalent
- 1+ year of radiation therapy experience preferred
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and fulfill travel assignment requirements
