We are seeking a Data Collection Administrative Staff professional to support data collection, research, documentation, and data entry activities involving sensitive legal and criminal justice information.
The ideal candidate will have strong research, organizational, communication, and data management skills, along with the ability to work accurately with confidential information and detailed legal documentation.
Key ResponsibilitiesResearch and collect relevant court and legal documents.
Review, analyze, and interpret information contained within collected documents.
Communicate and coordinate with local and state law enforcement agencies and other external organizations.
Enter and maintain accurate information in designated web portals and data systems.
Review data for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with applicable procedures.
Research and process information involving criminal history and legal records.
Handle sensitive and confidential information with appropriate discretion.
Manage multiple tasks and assignments while meeting established deadlines.
Maintain organized records and documentation.
Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
Equivalent relevant work experience may be considered.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with data collection and data entry.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Ability to read, understand, and process detailed information accurately.
Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
Experience working with criminal history records or legal documentation.
Familiarity with court documents and legal terminology.
Experience reviewing documents such as:
Criminal history records
Probable cause affidavits
Conviction and sentencing documents
Presentence investigation reports
Court orders
Research experience.
Knowledge of criminal justice systems and related processes.
Skill Requirement
Must be comfortable working with sensitive, confidential, and detailed information.
Must be able to manage multiple complex assignments simultaneously.
Must demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Must be able to make sound decisions based on available information and established procedures.
Work will be performed independently, with periodic review for accuracy, compliance, and quality.
