ASSISTANT MUSIC DIRECTOR
School of Rock is more than a music school—we’re a community of musicians, teachers, performers, and families who believe music can change lives. With more than 425 schools worldwide, we’re the largest after-school music education provider in the world. We put on shows to teach music. The Assistant Music Director works closely with the Music Director and school leadership to help create an exceptional musical experience for our students. You'll help lead instructors, support rehearsals and performances, coordinate programming, and help ensure that our students are challenged, supported, and excited to be part of School of Rock.

- Help create an organized, positive, and collaborative culture among the instructional team.
- Step in to lead rehearsals or classes when needed.
- Assist with the planning, promotion, and execution of high-quality school events and performances.
- Support the overall operation of the school and contribute to a safe, welcoming, and professional environment.
- Follow School of Rock's Code of Conduct, safety policies, and supervision requirements.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

- Experience working with children and families.
- Good judgment and a strong commitment to student safety.
- Evening and Weekend availability is a must.
MOST IMPORTANTLY
We're looking for someone who understands that a great music program is about more than putting together a good setlist. It's about creating an environment where students want to show up, instructors want to do their best work, and everyone feels like they're part of something.
If you love music, love working with musicians, and want to help shape an incredible performance-based music program, we'd love to hear from you.
