Job Description

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve FPGA device modeling and physical database software.
• Work with AMD architecture specialists to improve future products and apply data-driven approaches to optimization.
• Participate in new FPGA and hardware bring-ups.
• Debug and fix existing issues while researching more efficient solutions.
• Monitor software and hardware trends, particularly algorithms and architecture.
• Build technical relationships with peers and partners and collaborate across teams.

Requirements

• Strong object-oriented programming background, preferably in C/C++.
• Experience with modern concurrent programming and threading APIs.
• Experience developing for Windows and Linux.
• Ability to write high-quality, detail-oriented code.
• Experience with debuggers, source code control systems such as GitHub, and profilers is a plus.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Effective communication, problem-solving, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
